THE ADVICE YOU NEED TO EMBRACE PATTERN & TEXTURE

Your apprehension may stem from uncertainty about how to balance such striking elements with your existing décor, the risk of ‘overwhelming’ a space, or the challenge of making disparate patterns work harmoniously together. My Pattern & Texture Consultation is designed to help you overcome those fears, gain confidence in your design choices and achieve a cohesive, stylish look that reflects your personality and lifestyle.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

The Pattern & Texture Consultation can be provided online or onsite for local clients. Both services involve me developing a clear understanding of your personality, your tastes and style, and the rooms you need support with, via detailed discussions and questionnaires.

• Introduction call: We’ll start with a short phone call to discuss what challenges you’re facing, what you hope to achieve and how many rooms you wish to tackle.
• Understanding your style: You’ll then receive the detailed online questionnaire, to complete in your own time – this helps me develop an understanding of your tastes, and also allows you to upload photos or a video of the rooms so that I can see the spaces in advance.
• Book your Consultation session: Once you’ve completed the questionnaire you’ll receive a link to be able to book either the online or onsite consultation, for a date and time that suits you.
• Curated selections and advice: The Consultation will take an hour (longer for more than 2 rooms), and will involve me touring the space with you (virtually if online), then guiding you through the pattern choices I’ve made, across wallpapers, fabrics, flooring and other finishes – each carefully chosen to meet your practical needs and style aspirations. I’ll answer your questions, and record the online consultation so no need to take notes, you just focus on the advice.
• Follow up documentation: Afterwards you’ll receive by email a detailed report of the consultation, specifications of the materials discussed or chosen, and recommendations of quantities needed.

It may be that from the Pattern & Texture Consultation you would like further support, in sourcing fabrics, tiles, or other finishes, reupholstering furniture or making new window drapery. I’ll be happy to discuss such services, and for larger redesign plans we can look to my wider ranging Interior Design services.
