Not every project needs a full consultation or design package. Sometimes, what you need most is the chance to sit down with a professional, discuss the challenges that are worrying you, and walk away with clear, confident next steps.

Design Coaching sessions provide flexible, bespoke advice on a wide range of design topics. Delivered online or in person, Coaching gives you access to expert input on exactly what you want and exactly when you need it.

Common areas of support include:

• Refining floor plans and layouts
• Developing lighting and electrical schemes
• Curtains, blinds, and window treatments
• Material and finish selections
• Advice on bespoke joinery and storage solutions
• Reviewing builder/decorator recommendations
• Styling, sourcing, and finishing touches
• Period property considerations and detailing

How it works

• Minimum booking: 2 hours (this enables preparation, tailored research, your consultation meeting, and a written summary).
• Sessions can be online or in person (within 40 minutes’ travel from Petersfield).
• Live consultation time is typically 60–75 minutes, with the remaining time spent on research and preparing your tailored recommendations.
• You’ll receive a written summary of key points and suggestions after the session.

Investment:

£65 per hour online (minimum 2 hours)

£75 per hour in person (minimum 2 hours)

If your project develops into something more complex – such as a multi-room reconfiguration, a major renovation, or a design that spans several decisions over time – I also offer Project Consulting Packages, available in blocks of 5 days. These can be used flexibly at the key moments when you need expert input: such as during layout design, material selection, and coordinating with trades.

The Colour Confidence Consultation will help you remove the guesswork and apprehension when choosing colours for your home. Whether you’re looking to refresh a single room, harmonise colours between rooms, or enhance period features with a complementary palette, I’ll provide tailored advice to suit your style, needs, and goals. Where paint companies’ consultations focus on their own ranges, my consultations draw from multiple brands and finishes to give you a broader and more flexible choice.
The Pattern Power Consultation will guide you to confident choices in pattern choices and combinations across wallpaper, fabric, tiles, rugs and more. My advice, based on your inputs, will help you to create the richly patterned yet harmonious spaces you covet.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

The Consultations can be provided online, or onsite for local clients. Both involve developing a clear understanding of your personality, your tastes and style, and the rooms you need support with, via detailed discussions and questionnaires.

• Introduction call: We’ll start with a short phone call to discuss what challenges you’re facing, what you hope to achieve, how many rooms you wish to tackle and whether you would like the in-person or online consultation.
• Consultation Questionnaire: You’ll then receive the detailed online questionnaire to complete – this helps me develop an understanding of your tastes, lifestyle needs, apprehensions and aspirations.
• Review of your room images, if online (or an on-site visit if chosen)
• Preparation of tailored colour palettes, patterns and finishes.
• The Consultation: An hour-long visit or video call, guiding you through the recommendations I’ve made, answering your questions, and planning your next steps.
• Follow up documentation: A detailed report of the consultation, specifications of the materials discussed or chosen, and suggestions for implementation.

Investment: £300 for online, £325 for on-site (subject to journey time)
