Project Consulting is for people who want to be involved in creating their home, without having to work out and manage every part of the project themselves.
A large interiors project can be exciting. It can also bring an enormous number of decisions, competing priorities and periods of frustration and disruption.
Perhaps you love researching furniture and visiting showrooms, but have limited time for an entire project. Or you may be happy to organise local trades and suppliers, but want expert help deciding what needs doing, in what order, and how all the individual elements should come together. Maybe you’re not sure of what your style preferences are – but you know what they are not!
In Project Consulting you don’t need to arrive with every answer.
We’ll work out where your time and energy are best spent, where you need my design expertise, and where it makes sense for me to take the lead.
We do that through a simple Define, Design, Deliver process.
DEFINE
Every Project Consulting package begins by properly defining the project.
DESIGN
Good design doesn’t come from making dozens of individual choices in isolation.
DELIVER
The result is a genuinely collaborative way of working. You can keep hold of the parts of creating your home that you enjoy, while I provide the design thinking, structure and heavier support where it adds most value. You remain part of the process without the project having to take over your life.
Project Consulting is booked initially as a five-day package. The first day establishes the project and design direction; we then agree how my remaining time can add the greatest value. If the scope needs more support, we’ll identify that early and agree whether to prioritise particular work, add further consulting days or consider Full Service Design.
Just need help with one specific design challenge?
Not every project needs ongoing design support.
If you have one thing you’re feeling stuck on – perhaps a room layout, lighting plan, window treatment, material choice or joinery idea – a half-day Design Coaching session gives you four hours of focused professional input to work through it.
That time includes preparation and research as well as our bespoke in-depth consultation. You’ll walk away with clear, confident next steps.
£250 for four hours
Available online or in person (within 45 minutes drive of East Meon)
