This two-bedroom apartment in Hove, built in the early 2000s, was a blank canvas when our client approached us to create a welcoming pied-à-terre for himself and his visiting sons. With no existing furniture to draw from, we handled every element of the interior — from spatial planning and concept development through to sourcing all furniture, lighting, window dressings and accessories.
The client’s love of Moorish patterns and bold colour inspired a scheme of warm neutrals layered with rich, saturated colours and softly graphic motifs. The result is a space that feels characterful yet calm — a home-from-home that balances style with practicality.
Custom-built wardrobes in both bedrooms provided tailored storage, and both bedrooms also feature a large desk to suit the client’s remote working needs without compromising on aesthetics. Our involvement streamlined the entire process, saving the client time and decision fatigue, while ensuring a cohesive and high-quality finish throughout.
This project is a testament to how thoughtful design can turn even the most ordinary shell into a space that feels grounded, personal, and truly functional.
